Heavenly Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth
We thank you that you know all things.
We thank you that nothing surprises you.
We thank you that everything that happens, even global pandemics, passes through your fatherly hands.
We thank you that you alone provide for all our needs.
Shelter us in the shadow of your Almighty Care.
Hear our prayer, O LORD.
Father, we thank you for the dedicated medical workers who are on the front lines of this pandemic war.
Thank you for their service and their sacrifice.
Keep them in your tender care, Lord God.
Watch over them as you watch over the sparrow.
Protect them and their families from sickness, discouragement, and despair.
Shelter them in the shadow of your Almighty Arms.
Hear our prayer, O LORD
Father, we thank you for the endless stream of essential workers who venture out into the unknown every day.
So that we may live comfortably in our sheltered places.
Thank you for their service and their sacrifice.
Watch over them as you watch over the lilies of the field.
Protect them and their families from sickness, discouragement, and despair.
Shelter them in the shadow of your Almighty Love.
Hear our prayer, O LORD
Father, we do not understand this virus, but you do.
Replace our fear with trust, our uncertainty with confidence, and our anxiety with peace.
Remind us of our total dependence on you.
Forgive us for trying to live in our own strength.
You Alone are our strength and shield.
Shelter us in the shadow of your Almighty Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is our True Shelter. In Him alone we pray.
Thank you that in Him you hear our prayer, O LORD.
